Uganda Premier League side KCCA has confirmed the signing of holding midfielder, Yunus Sibira.
The development was confirmed via the club’s official social media platforms today, Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
“New heartbeat. New energy. The centre is ours,” the club posted on its handles following an unveiling video.
Sibira joins from Kitara FC where he proved to be a quality midfielder who can stop the opponents’ attack but also thrive in advanced areas of the pitch.
The Kasasiro Boys lost Brain Jjara and Joel Sserunjogi in the ongoing transfer window so Sibira’s acquisition is key to feel the void created by the departure of the duo.
The holding midfielder joins the Lugogo-based side with great experience having previously played at Kitara FC, Buhimba United, Mbarara City and Gaddafi FC (currently known as Entebbe UPPC).
He becomes the club’s fourth signing following the arrival of midfielder Elvis Ngonde, forward Charles Lwanga and defender Maxwell Owachgiu.
