Game Four of the high-stakes National Basketball League playoff series between KCCA Leopards and UCU Lady Canons, originally scheduled for Sunday, August 2, has been officially postponed by the Competitions Council.
The fixture has been put on hold to accommodate key UCU Lady Canons players called up to represent Uganda on the international stage at the FIBA 3×3 Games in Tunisia.
To maintain fairness while these vital team members fulfil their national duties, league officials decided to temporarily freeze the series.
The Competitions Council will confirm and announce a rescheduled date for Game 4 as soon as the revised timetable is finalised.
The Lady Canons hold a 2-1 lead in the NBL series. The Leopards managed to win game three and were the team with the momentum; a pause will be a disservice to Tony Drileba’s charges.
