Team Uganda will be officially flagged off on Saturday, 8th August 2026 at the National Council of Sports (NCS) premises in Lugogo before the delegation will set off the next day.

The draws for most games in the upcoming 2026 FEASSA Games (12th to 22nd August) were completed at the GNS Plaza in Kampala.
Netball, like many other ball games, is among the disciplines already solved, with two groups to be considered.
Multiple champions St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende (Uganda) are in Group A, alongside fellow Ugandan ambassadors, Light College Katikamu.
Light College Katikamu replaced Buddo Secondary School, who pulled out of the competition at the 11th hour.
The other two teams in the same group are: Mkolani SS (Tanzania) and Bukokholi S.S (Kenya).
Group B has St Noa Girls Secondary School – Zana (Uganda), Mbeya SS (Tanzania), Hamdan Islamic School (Uganda), Andase S.S (Kenya) and another Tanzanian side, Vwawa S.S.

Besides Netball, these games also entail Handball, Football, Basketball, Rugby (7’s and 15’s), Lawn Tennis, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Hockey, Cricket, Baseball & Softball; among others.
The indoor games include Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Scrabble, Swimming and others.
The FEASSA theme is “Nurturing Sports Talent”
Hosts Tanzania will be joined by teams from Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Burundi.
