URA FC could have made changes in the technical team but what has remained unchaged is their struggles in front of goal. The Tax Collectors parted ways with Alex Isabirye in December last year and replaced him with Hussein Mbalangu.
Despite the reshuffle, the lack of sharpness in the final third still remains a key area of concern and it was once again on show as they faced Police FC on Saturday at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
The closely contested game ended goalless, stretching their goal drought to seven successive games.
The last time URA FC scored a goal was in the 7-3 win over Buhimba United Saints on 26th November 2025. They have since then played seven games (630 minutes) without finding the back of the net, the longest they have gone in their history.

With the first round ending today, URA FC have managed to score just 13 goals in 15 games and occupy 12th place, only two positions and a point above the red line.
On the other hand, Police FC will be delighted with the performance they have had in the first roind of the season.
The Cops under coach Matia Lule have punched above weight and end the first round with 28 points in sixth place.
However, today against URA FC, the team had to play without coach Lule who received the sad news of the death of his father a few minutes before kickoff.
